Nvidia Mcp51 Lan Controller Driver 11 [EXCLUSIVE]
The following systems are partially supported by FreeBSD. Inparticular the fiber channel controllers in SBus-based systems arenot supported. However, it is possible to use these with a SCSIcontroller supported by the esp(4) driver (Sun ESP SCSI, Sun FAS Fast-SCSI and Sun FAS366Fast-Wide SCSI controllers).

Where possible, the drivers applicable to each device or classof devices is listed. If the driver in question has a manual pagein the FreeBSD base distribution (most should), it is referencedhere. Information on specific models of supported devices, controllers, etc. can be found in the manual pages.
With all supported SCSI controllers, full support is providedfor SCSI-I, SCSI-II, and SCSI-III peripherals, including harddisks, optical disks, tape drives (including DAT, 8mm Exabyte,Mammoth, and DLT), medium changers, processor target devices andCD-ROM drives. WORM devices that support CD-ROM commands aresupported for read-only access by the CD-ROM drivers (such ascd(4)). WORM/CD-R/CD-RW writing support is provided byman:cdrecord(1)], which is a part of the sysutils/cdrtools port in the Ports Collection.
The em(4) driver supports Gigabit Ethernet adapters based on theIntel 82540, 82541ER, 82541PI, 82542, 82543, 82544, 82545, 82546,82546EB, 82546GB, 82547, 82571, 82572, 82573, and 82574 controllerchips:
The sis(4) driver supports Silicon Integrated Systems SiS 900 andSiS 7016 based Fast Ethernet adapters and embedded controllers, aswell as Fast Ethernet adapters based on the National SemiconductorDP83815 (MacPhyter) and DP83816 chips. Supported adaptersinclude:
The snd_hda(4) driver supports more than two hundred differentcontrollers and CODECs. There is no sense to list all of them here,as in most cases specific CODEC configuration and wiring are moreimportant then type of the CODEC itself.
Network Adapter Code 31 error in Device Manager may occur in a Windows based computer (Windows 10, 8, 7 or Vista) if the appropriate driver for the Network (Ethernet/LAN) controller is not installed properly or is corrupted. The full description of the "code 31" error in "Device status" information box is:
In several cases the Ethernet "Code 31" error, can occur despite the fact that the correct driver of the Ethernet controller is already installed. At these cases you have to perform some additional steps to resolve the error code 31 in your Network Adapter.
Try both solution its still not working both the nfForce networking controller and Broadcom wireless 802.11b/g WLang are shown with the yellow ! under unknown on the Device Manager.Windwows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date and the best driver is already installed.
I used on-board drivers for windows 8.1 and it report errors from controller in event view and it gives me BSOD, that is the reason I installed windows 7, to see if really controller is the isue or the drivers. I will try again with your drivers, and if is not working I will try with windows 8 but maybe next weekend:).Thank you.Mihnea

I suspect that your problem is related to the latest NVIDIA update, which installs nvidia-driver-460. There is currently a bug with this version and some versions after it. You can subscribe to the bug here: +source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-460/+bug/1911055
I had the same issue on an Acer Aspire laptop running Ubuntu 20.04 with NVIDIA. I was using the default driver (nvidia-driver-460). I then tried nvidia-driver-450-server and still didn't have any luck. Then I tried nvidia-driver-418-server and it worked.
They are NOT automatically removed during driver update and systems with nvidia drivers installed before 470 have them left behind after upgrade. This might be the reason why many people suggest reverting back to 460.
